Missouri’s springs are geologic wonders
One area in Missouri that has some of the most spectacular springs is the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. This stretches more than 130 miles by river, taking in portions of both the Jacks Fork and Current rivers. Along the way, numerous springs flow into these rivers, adding to their volume and creating points of interest. Some of the best are Round Spring, Alley Spring and Big Spring. The National Park Service operates all three springs.
